For those who missed the live broadcast of Titan FC 22 onHDNet there will be a rebroadcast Thursday, June 7th at 3:30 PM.  The event originally took place May 25th atthe Memorial Hall in Kansas City, KS. TFC have been busy not only with two shows so far this year and onecoming up in three weeks but also put on the Invicta MMA show, arguably a stepup from their limited involvement with Bellator last year.  With this show they are still arguably a stepbelow MFC in Canada, also broadcast on HDNet.

In his first fight since getting cut from the UFC Anthony Johnson defeatedfellow UFC vet David Branch in the main event, a three-round drawn out battleof wills with Johnson scoring a takedown in round 2, Branch a triangle chokeattempt in round 2, and Johnson scoring with leg kicks and a takedown in round3 being the main scoring.  This fight wasoriginally supposed to be at middleweight but was moved to a catchweight of 195reportedly after Johnson again failed to make weight.  11-4 Johnson who was cut from the UFC forrepeatedly missing weight is said to next fight at 205 pounds.

In the co-main event WEC vet L.C. Davis broke his three-fight losing streakwith a TKO of Bill Kamery.  KIamery now at10-3 made a good opponent and goes some way to redeeming Davis who is now 17-5but two of Davis’ three losses in 2010-11 were in WEC and much higherprofile.  As mentioned in a preview Daviswas getting big back around 2009 with a win over Bao Quach in Affliction andwins in his first three WEC fights despite a loss in Sengoku, this fight couldbe his ticket back to such a level.

Note that this rebroadcast is not to be confused with TFC’s June 15th live showalso expected to air live on HDNet.  Thatshow, TFC 23, will take place at Fort Riley with Jorge Santiago vs. Jay Silvain the main event.
