If any promotion can be considered on the cutting edge ofMMA it would have to be Cage Warriors Fighting Championships with the CWFCFight Night 6 May 24th webcasting on Facebook and MMA Junkie as well as takingplace at the Shaikh Khalifa Sports City in Isa Town, Bahrain.  Talk about new markets, this was a one-twopunch of a show.

Gael Grimaud has come a long way since his days in M-1 Challenge with this mainevent fight being his first successful defense of the CWFC welterweight title hewon last September.  UFC vet Jesse Taylorhad the advantage with wrestling skills however the former middleweight didn’tsecure his positions while the heat of the environment made both fighters sweatprofusely resulting in Grimaud managing to escape and reverse repeatedly.  By the end of the second round Taylor seemeddrained and shortly into the third Grimaud turned a Taylor takedown into anarmbar for the win.

MMA Junkie has confirmed they will also webcast the June 2nd Cage Warriors 47show from Dublin.  Look for more on thatshow in the days to come.
