(Hiroshi "Iron" Nakamura is not satisfied with hisperformance in the tournament opening round)
Hiroshi "Iron" Nakamura was very happy to hear he is facing LuisNogueira in the tourney semi-final.
"Because he is very strong."
Nakamura's only wish is, always, to face the toughest fighter possible.
When a 31-year old from team Tokyo Yellow Man's signed with Bellator, "Iam happy to be able to test my skill against the world's top fighters" wasthe very first thing he said and he is still maintaining the same attitude.
For an athlete who goes through rigorous training on a daily basis, its anhonor to be able to fight in the top league, bang against best athletes. Thatis how "Iron" feels.
"In the last fight (vs Rodrigo Lima) it took me a while to get comfortablein there (in the Bellator cage)."
Therefore, he doesn't have much good things to say in regards to the tournamentopening round and that is why Nakamura knows what he needs to do to win thenext fight.
"I was tight so I couldn't provide good fight to the spectators. So, thistime, I am going to provide an exciting fight. That is how I prepared. SoI am putting the pressure on myself to perform that way."
Apparently Nakamura saw most of Nogueira's past fights including all of hisfour fights in Bellator.
"He knows how to execute his own fight style, and I know he is a smartfighter" but Nakamura is not intimidated, "I don't want to takestep back so I wanna be conscious about being on offensive end all the time. Inmy last fight, that was the problem. But no game plan though. My body is goingto follow the instinct."
