MMAJunkie has reported that UFC president Dana White is interested in two ofrival promotion Bellator's top stars: Hector Lombard and Eddie Alvarez. Lombardholds the promotion's middleweight title, while Alvarez recently dropped thelightweight belt.

For the most part, Bellator has been able to keep their top stars in house withtheir tournament format and restrictive contracts. According to reports,Bellator employs a "champion's clause" similar to the UFC that keepschampions under wraps.

Lombard has not lost since 2006. He has gone 8-0 in Bellator, captured themiddleweight title and defended it twice. He holds victories over TrevorPrangley, Alexander Shlemenko and Jared Hess.

Alvarez won the Bellator inaugural lightweight title with victories over GregLoughran, Eric Reynolds and Toby Imada. He then defended the belt once againstPat Curran, before dropping it to current champion Michael Chandler lastNovemeber. In his last fight, he scored a first-round knockout of Dreamchampion Shinya Aoki.
