Michael Chiesa vs. Kevin Lee to headline UFC Fight Night 112

Top tier lightweights Michael Chiesa (14-2) and Kevin Lee (15-2) are set to headline UFC Fight Night 112. UFC officials confirmed the bout on Thursday.

UFC Fight Night 112 will be held June 25 from Chesapeake Energy Center in Oklahoma City, Okla. The event is expected to broadcast live on FS1 with early prelims streaming live on Fight Pass.

Chiesa is currently ranked seventh in the UFC’s lightweight division and is riding a three-fight winning streak. The TUF 15 winner is coming off a submission win over Beneil Dariush at UFC on Fox 19 in April 2016. Before that he had a submission win over Jim Miller in December 2015 and a decision over Mitch Clarke in April 2015. Chiesa is 7-2 overall inside the octagon and has won five fight-night bonus awards. Ten of his 14 wins have been by submission.

Lee is riding a four-fight winning streak and is currently ranked eleventh in the division. “The Motown Phenom” is coming off a submission win over Francisco Trinaldo at UFC Fight Night 106 in early March. And prior to that Lee had scored wins over Magomed Mustafaev, Jake Matthews and Efrain Escudero. Now 8-2 in overall UFC competition, Lee has finished seven of his 15 career wins via submission.
