Former World Series of Fighting featherweight champion Lance Palmer is set to fight Steven Siler at an upcoming Professional Fighters League show. The event takes place Nov. 2 at the Washington Hilton in Washington, D.C.
For his last seven fights, Palmer has competed under the WSOF banner. The promotion has now rebranded to the PFL, and he remains with the company. During his run, he went 4-3 and won the WSOF featherweight title twice. Palmer first won the belt over Rick Glenn at WSOF 16. He then lost the belt to Alexandre de Almeida, but “The Party” won the championship back in a rematch. In his last fight, Palmer dropped a decision against Andre Harrison.
Siler received his release from the UFC in 2014. Following that, he competed on a variety of smaller shows before signing with WSOF earlier this year. In his debut for the promotion, he dropped a decision against Hakeem Dawodu. During his career, Siler has scored wins over Mike Thomas Brown, Nick Mamalis and Cole Miller.
In the main event of the upcoming PFL event, final WSOF heavyweight champion Blagoi Ivanov will return to action against Caio Alencar.
