Kid Peligro Jiu-Jitsu News . . . Worlds Jiu-Jitsu Masters and Seniors - Rumor: Roger Gracie v Marcus "Buchecha" and more

The event that everyone is talking about now is the Worlds Masters and Seniors for the first time in the USA. The event takes place on October 7th, 2012 at the Long Beach Pyramid in Long Beach, Ca. The International Masters and Seniors event held in Rio was the ultimate event for the age group competitors and some huge names from the past near and far always showed up to test their mettle. In the USA, the Pan was the  major event for that group but now, the Worlds Masters and Seniors is getting all the age group competitors fired up.

The success of the yet to be held event is reflected on the number of pre-event camps being held or planned by some of the top teams like Atos, Alliance, Gracie Humaita and Brasa.

Rumors: Roger Gracie v Marcus "Buchecha" and more

There are strong rumors going around about an matched fights event to be held in October. One of the matches to be held would be between the only 3 times World Absolute Champion Roger Gracie versus the current World Absolute Champion Marcus "Buchecha". Other names being mentioned as participating on the event include Kron Gracie and one of Rorion's sons.

While we don't usually report rumors, the fact that some of the promoters haven't replied to our inquiries and that some of Roger's close family members confirmed the actual fight has been agreed to, makes us believe that these are more than just "rumors" and make us believe that the possibility of this exciting event actually taking place very strong.
