Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Jiu-Jitsu World Tour Los Angeles: two weeks left to register; black belt stars line up for great matches on September 23-24

Athletes of all nationalities have two weeks left to register for the 2017 Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Jiu-Jitsu World Tour Los Angeles, which takes place September 23-24, at the Los Angeles Convention Center, in downtown LA. For the third year, the event lands in the USA for the second of five stages of the 2017/2018 season. The final registration deadline is September 19. Once again, competitors can expect the level of professionalism and production that is the trademark of UAEJJF events.

The 2017/2018 season of the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Jiu-Jitsu World Tour will award almost $700,000 in prizes for champions of selected divisions in all belt colors and age categories. The event in Los Angeles alone is set to award over $125,000 in prizes. The two days of Jiu-Jitsu in LA (Gi and No-Gi) will feature a stellar roster of well known names in the black belt division. With two weeks left before the final registration deadline, here are some of the names already registered to compete in LA.

About the UAEJJF

With the support and guidance of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation was established in November 2012 as the official authority for Jiu-Jitsu in the UAE.
