The Jiu-Jitsu Global Federation focuses on many aspects of the art, one of the most important aspects for the Federation is education as they believe in helping professors and practitioners gain a deeper understanding in Jiu-Jitsu and its application. The JJGF is an advocate of the art of Jiu-Jitsu and promotes aspects of Jiu-Jitsu self-defense that brings the community as a whole moving in the direction of effectiveness. To ensure that Jiu-Jitsu continues to head in this direction, the JJGF has established the Certified Instructors Training Path (CITP).
Beginning today October 3rd, and continuing for the next two days, in Los Angeles, California 2014, the Federation will present its inaugural CITP for Self-Defense Levels 1 and 2. This gathering is led by Master Rickson Gracie and will be filmed and available later for open enrollment online for those Jiu-Jitsu practitioners and professors that wish to become certified by the JJGF. In regards to the physical techniques explored in October, the programs will cover both standup and ground fighting applications.
