Flyweights Justin Scoggins and Joby Sanchez have been scheduled to face off at the TUF 22 Finale. The UFC officially announced the addition to the event, which takes place Dec. 11 at the Chelsea at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas.
Scoggins recently got back on track with a decision victory over Josh Sampo. He had previously suffered his first two defeats in back-to-back fashion. He fell via split-decision against Dustin Ortiz and then was upset via submission by Josh Moraga. His record currently stands at 10-2.
Sanchez signed with the UFC after defeating veteran Antonio Banuelos under the Tachi Palace Fights banner. In his promotional debut, he dropped his first professional fight to Wilson Reis. However, in his last outing, he rebounded nicely with a split-decision victory over Tateki Matsuda.
The main event of TUF 22 Finale features a matchup of top featherweights. Former lightweight champion Frankie Edgar will take on Chad Mendes in a bout that will most likely determine a future contender for the featherweight title.
