The UFC has confirmed a reported lightweight contest between Jim Miller and Francisco Trinaldo. The bout will be part of UFC Fight Night 119, which takes place Oct. 28 at the Ibirapuera Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Miller will be looking to avoid his third-straight loss. He has dropped back-to-back fights against Dustin Poirier and Anthony Pettis. Miller began his UFC career in 2008 and has scored signature victories over the likes of Gleison Tibau, Melvin Guillard and Joe Lauzon.
Trinaldo will also be looking to get back on the winning track after submitted against Kevin Lee at UFC Fight Night 106. The loss snapped a seven-fight winning streak that dated back to 2014. During the run, Trinaldo picked up wins over the likes of Norman Parke, Ross Pearson and Paul Felder.
In the main event of UFC Fight Night 119, former UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida will return to action against Derek Brunson in a middleweight fight.
