Seo Hee Ham (right) is a hard striker who was definitely a top five in JEWELS' 115 lbs divisionJEWELS revealed first fight card of JEWELS 24 and its going to be the 105 lbs title fight. The champ, Naho "Sugi Rock" Sugiyama, is going to take on a challenger, Seo Hee Ham from Korea.

Yes it’s that Ham who has been fighting at 115 lbs in the MMA and she is going down to 115 lbs, however, this is not the first time she is fighting at 48 kg.

In her Japanese pro MMA debut against Hisae Watanabe, a Korean striker fought at under 48 kg, and also, in last year, when she faced Erika Kamimura in a kick boxing rules, it was at under 48 kg as well.

Ham, who is still one of the title contenders at 115 lbs, should be an immediate force in JEWELS' Seo Hee Ham seems always relaxed105 lbs division.

On the other hand, "Sugi Rock" has been slipping.

After losing to Jessica Penne in Invicta FC 4, she just lost to Celine Higa in a decision. This must have been a huge disappointment to both Sugiyama and JEWELS. Although a Norwegian was on a two-fight win streaking going into this fight, Higa went 1-11 in first 12 professional bouts. Her second win just happened in September 2012 against Anna Saito and her record is currently 2-11.

Needless to say this fight was supposed to be a tune-up fight for the champ but she dropped it against a grappler who was able to keep top position executed more submission attacks.

JEWELS 105 lbs champ Naho "Sugi Rock" Sugiyama is facing a fight she just can't afford to loseAccording to JEWELS, Sugiyama is saying, "I just came off from a shameless performance. I am at the end of the rope. I am not defending here I have to go and win this fight no matter what."

Sounds like the champ understands that she is walking into this fight with way more than just a two-fight losing streak. A win would erase what just happened in JEWELS 23 and probably would get her another shot in Invicta FC as well. However a loss, for Sugiyama, may means, losing everything. Not just losing the belt but also a chance to redeem herself in North America.

This is a risky fight for Sugiyam

Ham is a tough opponent. A good striker with a solid ground game.

But, I guess, without a risk there is no glory for Sugiyama at this point.
