Christian Colombo and Carlos Felipe will face off in a heavyweight bout. The UFC has officially announced the fight as part of UFC Fight Night 119. The card takes place Oct. 28 at the Ibirapuera Gymnasium in Sao Paulo.
Colombo is still looking for his first UFC win after two fights in the Octagon. In his UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 93, he fought to a draw against Jarjis Danho. Colombo returned at UFC Fight Night 100 and fell via submission against Luis Henrique. Despite the losses, Colombo still enters this fight with an 8-2-1 record as a professional.
Felipe will be making his promotional debut at UFC Fight Night 119. Up to this point, he has spent his entire MMA career in his native Brazil. He has built an undefeated 8-0 record with six knockouts. In his last fight, he scored a knockout victory over Sandro Bezerra.
In the main event of UFC Fight Night 119, former UFC light heavyweight Lyoto Machida will return to action against Derek Brunson in a middleweight bout.
