Frank Caraballo returns to NAAFS Saturday night

Although holding more amateur fights than most noteworthy fight cards NAAFS Caged Vengeance 11 still looks interesting given their history of feeding fighters into Bellator, especially with Frank Caraballo on the main card.  NAAFS Caged Vengeance 11 takes place August 4th at the One Wellness Sports Center in Eastlake, Ohio with a live pay-per-view webcast on GoFightLive.

At 10-4 riding five wins in a row and two Bellator wins Frank Caraballo is one of the biggest stars NAAFS has.  After defeating Dustin Kempf and Donny Walker in BFC Caraballo returned to NAAFS in his last fight to submit Antonio Castillo Jr. in June.  Caraballo actually won the NAAFS title in BFC 66 by defeating Donny Walker, this will be his second title defense.  Facing the champion will be Jeremy Czarnecki, a 5-3 fighter coming off a unanimous decision win over Justin Steave in April.  Czarnecki is best known for his submissions but for the most part has been fighting on smaller shows, his NAAFS debut coming in January when he lost to Matt Montalvo.

Terry Blackwell on rightAlso  on the pro card Terry Blackwell tries to make it three wins in a row as he faces Brandon Suber.  Blackwell defeated Antonio Castillo Jr. in April 2011 and Nick Sorg last August but his relative inexperience has kept him from moving on so far.  Suber is making his NAAFS debut with a 2-2 record coming off a brabo choke win over James Ballinger last October.  Originally Blackwell was supposed to fight Julian Lane so Suber deserves credit for stepping up at any rate.

Richard McDoleThe third and final pro fight features Joe Pegg vs. Richard McDole.  Pegg is making his pro debut after a 3-1 amateur record in MMA Big Show, McDole broke his three-fight losing streak by submitting Ronell Green in April.
