DEEP JEWELS 19 – 03/10/2018: King Reina to take on a rookie named Park from Korea

Cindy Dandois vs. Reina “KING” Miura

Reina “KING” Miura’s opponent in DEEP JEWELS 19 is going to be So Young Park from Korea.
DEEP announced this on Tuesday.

According to the Japanese promotion, Park is a student of Change Seob Lee, the coach that also trains Dooho Choi. Lee is also an ex-pro MMA fighter that fought Hiroshi Izumi and UFC / PRIDE veteran Kazuo Takahashi in SRC.

No other info was provided but apparently Park only has one amateur fight under her belt so this is going to be her professional debut.

And she is going to face “KING” who is 7-1 in pro MMA.

This is a lopsided match-up but Miura is coming off from the loss against Cindy Dandois. After the first defeat in her career, it would be nice for “KING” to have a good tune-up fight. In that sense maybe Park is a perfect opponent.
