DEEP TOYAMA IMPACT 11 on April 14th is also going to be the retirement event of Shinobu Aoki, who heads Toyama branch of Wajiutsu Keishu-kai. He is going to face the current DEEP flyweight champion Yuki Motoya. The second show in April is going to be one of the biggest DEEP shows of this year.

Two days later, on April 26th, DEEP is promoting DEEP OSAKA IMPACT in Osaka and hometown hero Seiichi Ikemoto announced that he is going to retire after this show. For his last pro fight, the former DEEP welterweight champ is going to fight UFC / PRIDE veteran Ryo Chonan.

Chonan already declared that he is going hard against Ikemoto, demanded elbow strikes allowed rules so, the fans are expecting a hard fight from these two. This show is already sold out.

Finally on May 5th, at Hotel Plaza Katsukawa, DEEPis promoting DEEP NAGOYA IMPACT Kobudo Fight. A runner-up of last year's DEEP flyweight tourney, Akira Kibe, is coming back to fight in front of his hometown fans. Well, he is originally from Fukuoka prefecture but he is resides in Nagoya and fighting out of Nagoya-based team SPLASH so he can be considered as fighter from Nagoya. His opponent is going to be 2011 DEEP rookie of the year winner Sota Kojima from Yoshida Dojo. Kibe is from BJJ and Kojima is a third degree black belt in judo but very good at striking too so this is going to be a tough fight for a veteran from team SPLASH.
