DEEP CAGE IMPACT 2017 – 05/13/2017: 48-Year Old Oishi, 17-Year Old Takahashi and More

48 years and 17 years olds were added to DEEP CAGE IMPACT 2017.

They are not fighting each others though.

Masahiro Oishi is a 48-year old with 54 pro MMA fights on his resume.

He’s been around since 1993, the year UFC was founded.

Its amazing that Oishi is still active yet there are more impressive things about him. Oishi is the winner of four of last five fights, and currently on a two-fight win streak. Those two fights were in 2016 too so Oishi has been consistently active.

Oishi is fighting another 33-year old veteran named Chiaki Wakana.

Wakana took the entire year 2016 off and just came back two weeks ago and he was submitted by Yuki Takano.

A 17-year old Makoto Takahashi is fighting a 33-year old veteran Yasutaka Ishigami in a flyweight bout.

Takahashi is “undefeated” but he only had three pro MMA fights.

Still, very difficult to evaluate his ability.

But against someone like Ishigami, who has had 14 pro fights so far, we should be able to see where this 17-year old is at.
