DEEP 82 – 02/24/2018: A 20-year old Byeon confirmed as Motoya’s opponent

A 20-year old Jae Eun Byeon is going to be Yuki Motoya’s opponent in DEEP 82.

Byeon made a pro MMA debut in August 2016, and in the same month, he fought ONE veteran Masakazu Imanari at 145 lbs and won via majority decision. And now, he is 20 years old and taking on the former DEEP champion and RIZIN veteran Motoya at 135 lbs & under.

On the other end, Motoya is a flyweight that fought Kyoji Horiguchi in RIZIN so he is going up a weight class to take on Byeon.

Both stands at 5’7” tall but the Korean is bit bigger.

Byeon hasn’t fought since August 2016 but for Motoya, this is going to be his first fight since April 2017 as well so this is going to be a very interesting fight.

By just looking at their pro MMA record it may look like a fight made for Motoya to win but this could turn out to be a very close fight.
