WEC veteran Yoshiro Maeda is looking better than ever.

If he was peaking when he fought Miguel Torres for the WEC title then he is now probably going through the second peak of his career.

Maeda looked much superior in the first round.

Got the take down, passed the guard to mount position. Tatsumitsu Wada gave up his back quite easily and Maeda worked on a choke.

Second round looked bit different.

Wada landed couple of big right hands but Maeda came back with a huge flying knee. At the end of the round, Maeda, again, got the take down, got on Wada's back, worked on a choke but once again cut off by the bell.

However not much changed in the third round. Maeda took Wada to the ground, got the mount, dropped short punches and finished the fight with a rear naked choke.

Masakazu Imanari came back strong from a unanimous decision in the One FC and nailed a toe-hold in just 70 second.

Imanari pulled guard early, and from a loose omoplata, went for an armbar then wrapped Makoto Oishi's foot for a toe-hold.

Also, at the intermission, DEEP announced two fight cards for the upcoming DEEP 60 on October 19th.

PRIDE / UFC veteran Kazuhiro Nakamura is going to face another PRIDE vet Ryuta Sakurai in a middleweight bout, and also, DEEP light-heavyweight champ Yoshiyuki Nakanishi will defend his title against Yuki Niimura. In addition, DEEP also confirmed lightweight bout of Katsunori Kikino but his opponent is still undecided.
