Former WSOF champion David Branch

Multiple media outlets have reported that David Branch will return to the UFC against Krzysztof Jotko. The bout is expected to be part of UFC 211, which takes place May 13 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.

Branch had previously announced his return to the UFC for the first time since 2011. During his absence, he competed mostly for World Series of Fighting. In the promotion, he captured the light heavyweight and middleweight titles. Also during his run with WSOF, Branch defeated the likes of former WEC champion Paulo Filho, former UFC title contender Yushin Okami and ADCC gold medalist Vinny Magalhaes.

Jotko has been competing in the UFC since joining the promotion in 2013. In the Octagon, he has gone 6-1 and is riding a five fight winning streak. In his last fight, he picked up a decision victory over Thales Leites.

In the main event of UFC 211, heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic will put his title on the line against former champion Junior dos Santos. The two previously faced off in the main event of UFC on Fox 13 with Dos Santos taking a unanimous decision.
