Andrew Holbrook will took to take out another respected prospect as he faces Gregor Gillespie. The lightweight bout has been added to UFC 210, which takes place April 8 at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, N.Y.
In his last fight, Holbrook upset Australian prospect Jake Matthews. The victory improved his overall record to 12-1 and his UFC record to 2-1. He joined the promotion in 2015. In his debut, he scored a split-decision victory over Ramsey Nijem. His only career defeat came against Joaquim Silva at the TUF 23 Finale card.
After a decorated wrestling career, Gillespie transitioned into MMA and made his professional debut in 2014. He quickly built a 7-0 record under the Ring of Combat banner and captured the promotion’s lightweight and welterweight titles. Last September, he made his UFC debut and took a decision victory over Glaico Franca at UFC Fight Night 95.
In the main event of UFC 210, light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier will defend his title against Anthony Johnson. Cormier previously defeated Johnson for the vacant title back in 2015.
