Alex Morono to face Sheldon Westcott at UFC Fight Night 104
Alex Morono will look to stay on track against Sheldon Westcott. The UFC officially added the bout the UFC Fight Night 104, which takes place Feb. 4 at the Toyota Center in Houston.
Morono joined the UFC in early 2016 on the back on a five-fight winning streak. In his debut, he scored a dubious split-decision victory over Kyle Noke. Morono returned at UFC on Fox 22 and defeated James Moontasri. The pair of UFC victories pushed his professional record to 13-3.
Westcott reached the finals of the “The Ultimate Fighter: Canada vs. Australia” in 2014. In the finale, he fell via second-round knockout to Elias Theodorou. The Canadian returned to the UFC in 2015 and dropped a decision against Pawel Pawlak. Last January, Westcott finally picked up his first UFC victory in three tries as he scored a first-round stoppage over Edgar Garcia at UFC 195.
In the main event of UFC Fight Night 104, “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung will return from an extended hiatus against Dennis Bermudez.
